Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking a class with Sew Happy. By booking a class, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Attendance and booking

To ensure the smooth running of my classes and the best experience for all participants, I ask that you make every effort to attend each week where possible.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking to secure your place in the class. This deposit contributes towards securing requirements for your participation.

Cancellations and refunds

I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. While the initial 50% deposit is non-refundable, if you have paid the full fee for the class and need to cancel, I offer the following options:

* You may postpone your place to a future class, subject to availability

* Or receive a partial refund. The amount of the partial refund will depend on how much notice is given prior to the class start date.

If your class is unexpectedly cancelled, we will do our best to reschedule it. Should rescheduling not be possible, you will receive a refund of £15 for each missed session.

Class etiquette and environment

To ensure a positive and productive learning environment for everyone, please arrive on time for your class. Please be aware that a well-behaved, medium-sized dog will be present during class. If you have any allergies or concerns, please let me know in advance.

Intellectual property

All teaching materials provided during Sew Happy classes, including but not limited to video tutorials, written instructions, and project designs, are the intellectual property of Sew Happy. Access to video tutorials is subject to the tutor's discretion. Sharing or reproducing these materials without explicit permission is prohibited.

1:1 tutorials 

 

Individual tutorial sessions are available to book with a minimum duration of 2 hours per class. If you need to cancel your session, please notify the tutor at the earliest opportunity. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee. 

A travel fee of £5 per session applies for locations within a 10-mile radius of Valley Crescent Centre, Wrenthorpe. For distances beyond this radius, additional charges may apply and will be determined at the tutor's discretion.
